Rebates
Private Health Insurance
A rebate for Speech Pathology services may be available
through your private health fund if you have extras cover including Speech Pathology. Your health fund will be able to advise you on rebate amounts per session and limits per year.Medicare
You may be eligible for a rebate through Medicare if you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan referral completed by your General Practitioner. Eligibility for a Chronic Disease Management Plan is determined by your doctor and we encourage you to discuss this further with your Doctor.
National Disability Insurance Scheme
Voicebox Speech Pathology is registered to deliver services to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The cost of services provided to NDIS participants and any applicable travel charges are covered in full by NDIS.
There are no out-of-pocket expenses for NDIS participants who access this service.
If you wish to use NDIS funding to access our service for your child, your child must be over 7 years of age. If your child is under the age of 7 and you wish to access our services using NDIS funding, you are able to do so by opting to self-manage their therapy funding.
